The Deborah Holloway Story

I wanted to share details of my conversation with Deborah Holloway, who attended a Real Life Mobile Distribution with family member Anthony Holloway.

Deborah and Anthony live in Huntington and Anthony shared the following when asked about the importance of Facing Hunger Foodbank offering mobile food distributions to community members like Deborah and him: “This event has an excellent impact on our family. Coming here allows us to feed our family and it makes sure we have enough food to do that. This also allows us to do other things within our budget because we know we have enough food to feed our family. Because it’s just the two of us in our home this will last us a while.”

Deborah Holloway also praised our organization: “Facing Hunger Foodbank does a good job because we run out of food because we don’t get enough in food stamps. Thank God you all are here because we would be starving if it wasn’t for you all. Your organization helps us a lot because food is expensive.”
