Empty Bowls 2024 Raises Enough Funds to Provide over 135,000 meals!

The 21st Year of Huntington Empty Bowls took place on Friday, April 19 at the Pullman Square Gazebo. Marshall University School of Art & Design Ceramics students spent their Spring semester creating nearly 1,000 bowls to sell for this event; where we were able to sell them for $20 each. This $20 represents 180 meals that the foodbank can provide to those at the center of our work.

We are excited to announce that this year’s event raised over $15,000! We are so grateful for all the community support and for everyone that came out and bought bowls! Most importantly though, we are honored for the support the Marshall Ceramics students and staff continue to show us; we couldn’t do this event without them! #togetherwearefacinghunger
